Please read these Terms and Conditions before using this website.

Welcome to the official PanzerGlass web store (“the Web Store”).

 The Web Store is provided by PanzerGlass A/S, company registration no. 34902380, Delta 8, Søften, 8382 Hinnerup, Denmark. Contact details are provided at the end of this document.

Before purchasing a product in the Web Store, you are required to accept these Terms and Conditions. This is done by ticking the box on the checkout page to indicate that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. In addition, we recommend that you read our Privacy Policy.

Purchase agreements in the webshop are concluded in English, and all communications related to the agreement are conducted in English. These Terms and Conditions form part of your purchase agreement with us. Agreements are generally not stored by PanzerGlass A/S. However, any order confirmation email will contain a copy of these Terms and Conditions. You should save this email and the Terms and Conditions for your records. 

In this Web Store, we only sell products to customers who are aged 18 or over or who have received permission from their parent or guardian.

Accepting these Terms and Conditions confirms that you are 18 or older or have received permission from your parent/guardian to make a purchase in the Web Store, and that you are purchasing goods in the capacity of a consumer. In other words, you are buying goods solely for personal use or for use as a gift.

We only deliver within the United Kingdom, which means Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England.

  1. Orders

 The Web Store displays information pertaining to a range of products, including sizes, compatibility, colours, and prices.

This information is intended to allow you to make an educated evaluation of the product before placing an order in the Web Store.

Although we endeavour to keep the Web Store up to date, in exceptional cases, we may not be able to deliver a product found in the Web Store or deliver the product at the price advertised in the Web Store, including because the product is out of stock or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product. If we are unable to accept your order for any reason, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the product.

You therefore accept that the Web Store serves merely as an invitation to place an order.

This means that we are not obligated to deliver the product or products that you have ordered until such a time as we have withdrawn the funds from your account, at which point the order will become binding.

Your basket shows the products you have selected, as well as the total price for said products. The price is shown in GBP and includes VAT.

You are not bound by your order until the following stages in the process have been completed:

  2. Information
  3. Payment details

Should you wish to do so, you can interrupt and exit your purchase at any stage.

  1. Payment

 The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Dankort / VISA-Dankort

  • VISA Electron
  • Mastercard
  • MobilePay
  • Diners Club
  • Apple Pay
  • PayPal

Payments made through PayPal are not protected by the right to appeal. You can read more about PayPal’s Terms and Conditions on their website.

PanzerGlass uses an approved payment server, Reepay, which has been approved by the PCI (Payment Card Industry), and we encrypt the transmission of your card details using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. The encryption prevents unauthorised persons from stealing your credit card details upon your confirmation of payment.

Payment for your order will not be taken from your account until the product is shipped. All amounts are displayed in GBP and include VAT.

There is no fee for card payments.

 

  1. Order confirmation

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an automatically generated order confirmation from us by email.

The email will contain an order summary stating the product type, colour, size, compatibility, price including VAT and shipping, and order number. Additionally, the email will contain a downloadable copy of these Terms and Conditions. You should save this email in case you need it for correspondence with our customer service team later, or if you wish to file a complaint.

The automatically generated confirmation email does not serve as our accept of your order, but rather as a confirmation that we have received and will begin to process it.

 

  1. Order processing

 We send your order to the warehouse as soon as it is placed. This is to ensure that delivery happens as quickly as possibly as well as to check that the product is in stock. In the unexpected scenario that the product is not in stock, we will immediately send you an email informing you of this. 

  • If the product is in stock, we will deliver it to you as quickly as possible.
  • If you place an order in the Web Store before 2pm, we endeavour to ship your order the same day.
  • If you place an order after 2pm, or during the weekend or a public holiday in Denmark, your products will generally be shipped on the following business day.

We cannot accept any responsibility if you receive the product later than expected.

 

  1. Shipping information

Once the product is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an email. This email will contain a reference to your order number.

The email will also include shipping information, which you should save.

 

  1. Shipping and delivery

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up your order at PanzerGlass A/S in Hinnerup, but we are happy to ship it to you.

A product is considered delivered once it is in your possession. This is usually when it is delivered to the delivery address specified by you or you have picked it up from the post office/delivery locker or similar.

Your order will normally arrive at your specified delivery address or at the nearest post office/delivery locker 2-5 business days after your order has been handed over to an independent carrier.

Delays caused by third parties may occur. We will inform you if there is a delay to delivery of your order, but we will not be liable for any delays caused by events outside our control.

 

  1. Cancellation

  Consumers have a 60-day cancellation period when purchasing our products. Hence, you may cancel the purchase without giving reason within 60 days of receipt.

If you have purchased multiple products from us, you may return one or more products and retain the remaining products even if they have been purchased as one order.

The cancellation period expires 60 days after you have received your product. If multiple products have been ordered together but delivered separately, the cancellation period begins on the day that the last product is received (i.e. when you or a third party appointed by you, excluding the carrier, physically receives the last product).

To exercise the right of cancellation you must notify us of your decision to cancel the agreement in writing (e.g. by letter or email - see contact details here. You may also use the standard cancellation form found in these Terms and Conditions however, this is not a requirement.

The cancellation may also be notified through the Returns portal in the Web Store, which can be found here. We urge you to explain why you wish to return the product, however this is not a requirement for exercising the right of cancellation. If you use the Returns portal in the Web Store, we immediately confirm receipt of your notification that you are exercising the right of cancellation by email.

To log in to the Returns portal, you will need the email address used when placing the order as well as the purchase order no. you received previously by email. Then, you return through the system as follows: 

  1. Log in to our online Returns portal via the website by using email address and purchase order no.
  2. Select the products you wish to return from the order
  3. Print the prepaid return label which you receive by email
  4. Send back the products by using the printed label

 The cancellation time limit will be met if you notify us of your wish to exercise the right of cancellation prior to expiry of the cancellation time limit.

You cannot exercise your right to cancel by refusing to accept the product without letting us know.

 

  1. The effect of cancellation

 Once you have expressed your desire to cancel your purchase, you have 60 days to return the product. 

We will repay the amount to which you are entitled to you once we receive the returned product, or once you have provided documentation evidencing the return of the product, whichever comes earlier.

If you exercise your right of cancellation in this agreement, we will repay all payments received from you without undue delay and in any circumstances not later than 60 days from the date when we received your notification of your decision to cancel the agreement.

We will complete the repayment by the same means of payment as used by you for the original transaction unless you have given your express consent for us to do otherwise. In any circumstances you will not be required to pay any fees or charges as a result of the repayment.

We may withhold the repayment until we have received the returned products or when you have provided documentation for return of the product, whichever comes earlier.

We will pay the costs related to the return of the products.

You will be liable only for any reduction of the value of the products due to other handling than necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the products as well as the way they work.

The refundable amount depends on the trade value of the product.

 

  1. Exchange

 You cannot exchange a product for a new one. In order to receive a new product, you must first cancel your original order for a refund (subject to your eligibility under these Terms and Conditions). Once you have done this, we can help you ship order a new product as part of a new order.

 

  1. Shipping errors

 In the unfortunate event that we fail to deliver the items listed in your invoice and/or delivery note, contact customer service on customercareuk@panzerglass.co.uk, informing them of your order number.

We will investigate the matter and get back to you as quickly as possible.

 

  1. Warranty

 We are under a legal duty to supply products that are in conformity with your contract with us. When placing an order in the Web Store, your purchase is protected by the Danish Sale of Goods Act and any equivalent law in your EU or UK country of residence.
This means that all purchases come with a six year's right of complaint in respect of any inherent defects. 

If your claim is justified, this means that you may receive a new product in addition to a refund or a discount, depending on the specific situation.

You have to file a complaint within a “reasonable timeframe” of discovering the defect. If you submit a claim within two months of discovering the defect, your claim will always be considered filed within a reasonable timeframe.

- Order number (ex. #UK1000)
- Pictures clearly displaying the damage
- How the damage happened
- Product number or Name (SKU)

We reserve the right to have the product physically shipped to PanzerGlass A/S, if so desired. The shipping will be covered by PanzerGlass, and the product must be returned in reasonable packaging. Remember to get a copy of the shipping confirmation.

 

  1. Applicable law and complaints

Your purchase is protected by the Danish Sale of Goods Act, including its general rules on faults and defects. The statutory provisions on choice of law and the applicability of mandatory provisions of your country remain unaffected.

This contract is between you and us and no other person shall have any rights to enforce its terms.

 

  1. Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee that the colours shown in the Web Store are accurate renderings of the actual products. The colour rendering depends on your computer settings.

Information found in the Web Store may contain technical or typographical errors.

Information found in the Web Store, including prices, may be changed without notice. Any such changes will be effective as of the date of posting and shall not be applicable to orders which are binding prior to the date the new information is posted.

Information published in the Web Store may include references or cross-references to other products. Access to such information is not guaranteed, especially considering that any information may be changed without notice.

In connection with your use of the Web Store we collect, process, and use a range of personal data.

  1. Copyright and trademarks 

Products and content in the Web Store, including text, images, and sound, are copyright protected and belong to PanzerGlass A/S.

It is not permitted to use, reproduce, change, or copy products and other content in the Web Store without the express consent of PanzerGlass A/S.

The products available in the Web Store are trademarked and registered to PanzerGlass A/S or Retail Distribution, which is an affiliate of PanzerGlass A/S.

It is not permitted to use these trademarks for commercial purposes without the express consent of PanzerGlass A/S.
